Our 2025 Harvest Report
Every year our goal is to grow – while some think bigger or more is better, our goal is to grow deeper roots and stronger trees. Sometimes that means adjusting the plan, letting nature do its thing and learning to move with the unexpected seasons. Sometimes the trees grow, sometimes we do.
This part year saw lots of ups and downs. Our team hit some tough times, we rallied through grief and we dug into the dirt to work on new ways to protect the trees. We’ve spent months clearing cobwebs, successfully added a new irrigation system and took on a lighter harvest this year so we could let more nutrients from this year’s growth recycling right back into the soil to support next year’s growth.

Thanks to our fellow farmers in Argentina and Spain, families who have also tended to trees for generations, we were able to enjoy another successful year of bringing olive oil to kitchen counters across the South by expanding into ALDIs in Oklahoma, Krogers across Texas and launching an exclusive squeeze bottle with HEB for our Lone Star State neighbors who could use a helping hand with more accessible packaging for making everyday to memorable meals!
While weather is getting wild out there, we refuse to leave the bucking bronco that is ranching in Texas, so for those who are new here, let us explain about our collaborative agriculture community:
- We collaborate with two other other olive orchards in Argentina and Spain. Throughout the year, you’ll see our bottles have a range of 100% Texan oil to a bit of a blend; but they always enjoy the same varietal, the same quality and the same standards no matter how many families it took to ensure you never run out of the healthiest oil for every meal.
- We work with farms that have similar climates, take aligned agricultural actions (like ensuring there are never any GMOs or pesticides used) and share our values of caring for each other as much as the land.
- Sharing helps us lean into doing what’s best for each of our orchards in the longterm, supporting decisions around healthy harvesting and sticking with cold pressing once for the greatest polyphenol count per bottle.
We couldn’t be more excited to be looking forward to next year’s harvest
Our trees have seen growth this past year with an unexpected trajectory towards next year’s harvest already! We are gearing up to work on the press and are excited for a new collaboration with pecan-farming neighbors and fungi experts – stay tuned for our progress, we can’t wait to grow with you!
