How To Take Care of Your Olive Wood Kitchenware

How To Take Care of Your Olive Wood Kitchenware

Like all things that have taken quite some time to grow, care is needed to sustain the life of our Olive Wood Kitchenware.

Don't worry, it's nothing too time-taking or tumultuous! Just some ways you can keep up with your natural goods so they'll stay working for you for years to come.

  • Hand wash with soft soaps: Keeping your olive wood out of the dishwasher and hand washing after use is important for this untreated wood. To keep chemicals away from your kitchen, we opted to not chemically treat our wood to handle the wild world inside your dishwasher. Just like the trees our wares are hewn from, the sensitivity of olive wood calls for hand-held care.

  • Condition with Olive Oil: our Everyday Kitchen Staples aren't just great for cooking, they're great to help condition your kitchenware. Wiping down your spoons, bowls & boards with a light layer of olive oil will help the wood stay sealed and shining!

We are so excited to be sharing this oh so small line of goods with you, giving you the chance to enjoy the gift of our orchard again and again, for years to come!
