Celebrating Another Year Of Lessons Learned Under The Texas Sky

There's something special about pausing to sit on the porch at the very end of the year, to spend some time looking back at what you've learned while the sun sets. You know, Texas' skies are something special.

When a farm's been around as long as ours has, going on over two decades now, you learn a lot about changes. We've ridden the bucking bronco of winds, droughts and freezes, and found ways to work with farmers across the country and world to create sustainable food systems that help small growers stay consistent for their consumers.

We know next year is going to be tough. A lot of folks don't realize how small margins are for farms and ranches, and how everyone on the team will always wear more than one hat. But that's okay, we're honored to take on the challenge of becoming stronger in collaboration with our communities and are looking at this year as an opportunity to learn more about what's important to chefs and families across the South. We want to help invest into those who have welcomed us into their kitchens.

As y'all may have noticed, shipping logistics to pricing for packaging has gotten a bit wonky lately; but while we see this rocky road continuing for a while, sometimes growth gives you a helping hand and we will always try to extend the savings to our neighbors. (For those who subscribe to our newsletter, we'll give you a heads up when we are able to offer discounts for different sizes or varietals.)

The big news for 2026:

  • GROCERS
We are so excited to be expanding to grocers in Oklahoma, like ALDI, along with local legends in iconic cities like Bellegarde Bakery in New Orleans. And for those who have been waiting on baited breath, it's finally here: we've launched in the ten largest Krogers in Texas. If you don't see us on your shelves, ask your local Kroger to add us to their list!

  • SEASONAL INFUSIONS
To support the positive effects of harvesting seasonally with local producers, we are shifting our infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars to seasonal options with only a varieties that we are available across the States all year round. Our year long olive oils and vinegars will include our: Classic Red Balsamic, Meyer Lemon Infused Olive Oil, Roasted Garlic Infused Olive Oil and Pecan Infused Balsamic Vinegar. Our infused olive oils will continue to use single-varietal, extra virgin, Arbequina olive oil.

  • GIFT BOXES
We redesigned our gift boxes to help you skip the step of wrapping and save on unnecessary packaging! Add a card or a bow to these brightly decorated boxes, inspired by our favorite Tecovas boots we wear out on the orchard.

We've got plenty more to come that we just can't wait to share. But heck, what's not to love about a good surprise? Get excited y'all. 2026 may be coming in hot, but the horizon is sure looking mighty fine.

Happy New Year! We're so honored to celebrate another year with our food lovin' neighbors.
