Every step of the way is cultivated with a never-ending dedication to quality. We do everything to grow healthy olives for the greatest nutritional value. It's why our polyphenol count lives in the highest range when we bottle. While we try to stay humble, we can't help but brag about our 400-550 polyphenol count our oil has when we bottle!

When we say we sell olive oil, that means we're only bottling what we're growing. We're not here to pull the wool over your eyes, neighbors don't do that sort of thing.
Thanks to our data-driven friends in North Texas, we can always confirm that what you read on the ingredient list is what you're enjoying.
This isn't our first rodeo. We're a family of farmers that is four generations strong.
Our lead founder, Jim Henry, continues to teach his family the tools of the trade he spent decades cultivating; like his son Josh, who has aptly learned how to whisper to the trees just like his father. Now known as “The Wrangler”, Josh has an uncanny ability to operate the Ranch’s olive press.
Where everyone else said it couldn't be done, we found a home in South Texas.
Just north of the Southern U.S. border, in Carizzo Springs, Texas, we discovered land that mimicked Southern Spain - dry, rocky soil peppering a sprawling landscape under even bigger skies, land ripe for Arbequina olive trees. Over two decades ago, Jim Henry & Jerry Ferrell dreamed up an idea. And we don't think it's going too shabby.
We dug our heels in and committed to eco-driven practices.
Our natural agriculture practices work with the earth, rather than fighting against it. We believe in the importance of taking care of our soil and not draining it with wide-ranging monoculture practices. These values continue throughout our processing, as we only offer first-cold-pressed to ensure every part of our products' production is clear of unnecessary preservatives or unhealthy additives. Texas Olive Ranch is a purveyor of honest products.
